A relaxing stay with charming hosts
The rooms were beautifully styled, and breakfast felt personal at the communal dining table. We enjoyed delightful conversations with fellow travelers over delicious continental options.
WiFi was a challenge to connect to, which made streaming difficult. Additionally, the location was somewhat far from downtown Hobart, requiring a car for easy access.

My stay in the Deluxe King Suite was amazing—super comfy bed and a beautifully styled room with views that wowed! Plus, the communal breakfast setup encouraged some great convos with fellow guests.

The Deluxe King Suite, Cygnet offers a spacious layout that feels welcoming. The bedding is comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep.
On the downside, the shower running upstairs creates noise disturbances for those on the bottom floor. The soap in the dispenser lacks foam, making it feel inadequate for a proper wash, and there was no moisturizer provided after the shower. With only two coat hangers for two guests over a week, it put a damper on our stay as we had to spend time searching for more.

great stay but minor noise issues
The room was elegantly designed and impeccably clean, providing a peaceful retreat. I appreciated the well-stocked free parking and the ease of check-in. Breakfast featured a delightful variety of options, including fresh local pastries that truly impressed me. The serene river view from the garden added a lovely touch, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day.
There were times when noise from upstairs was noticeable.

Charming heritage decor adds character, making the stay feel unique, while the inviting garden space is perfect for relaxation. Morning Continental breakfast provided a delightful social setting with various delicious choices. A minor drawback was road noise at times, but it didn’t overshadow the positive experience.

The Superior King Suite featured lovely period furniture that added character, complemented by two spacious wrap-around balconies with stunning views of the marina. Breakfast was generous, showcasing local sourdough toast and offering a nice selection, though the absence of yogurt and some inconsistencies in coffee availability stood out. Unfortunately, the room had some maintenance issues, such as missing amenities and signs of wear, which detracted from the overall experience, and the WiFi connectivity posed a challenge at times.
